Vanessa sat down with Kelly to speak to her about the creative process for the K collection and to find out what feeling the sea evokes in her. As a VS Woman with mantra: beauty meets the sea.
Vanessa: Tell us about the feeling the sea evokes in you
Kelly : The sea is a source of endless tranquility and inspiration for me. It reminds me of the beauty and power of nature.
Vanessa: How was the creative process?
Kelly : So fun.
Vanessa : What do you consider when designing?
Kelly : I get inspiration from the brand itself and it’s really a collaborative process of sharing ideas and images.
Vanessa : What is classic design to you?
Kelly : Quality and simplicity.
Vanessa : My favourite piece from the K collection is…
Kelly : All of it! I love everything. All so easy to wear and comfortable and elegant. Can be worn casual or dressed up. To the beach or to dinner.
Vanessa : How did the K Collection come to life? Did the vision remain the same from ideation to build?
Kelly : I have just always loved Vanessa Sposi the brand. And then when I met Vanessa I just really connected with her and love her energy and style.
