My name is Julie, I am originally from Corsica where I was born and raised. I currently occupy my time between my two jobs. I am an architect and influencer. I live between Paris and Ajaccio.

The sea smells like my childhood, we have a boat in Corsica, and we took it every day during the summer holidays with my cousins ​​and my family!

The place I dream of returning to is New York right now! I need to feel the energy of the city again. And to rest, I would dream of returning to the Amangiri Resort, the most beautiful and peaceful place in the world!

I'm most creative when summer comes! I like swimsuits and comfortable clothes, feeling free and moving around without wearing a coat.

I draw inspiration from just about everything and everyone, from my friends to strangers on the street.

If I wasn't an architect, I would be working in fashion, so I guess I have the best of both worlds now.

My favorite piece from the Vanessa Sposi x Julie Sfi capsule collection is the green two-piece in Green!

How did Vanessa Sposi x Julie Sfi come about? Did the vision remain the same from idea to realization?

This collection came naturally because I had known the brand for a few years and when Vanessa asked me if I wanted to collaborate, it happened naturally!

I knew exactly what I wanted for the collection and Vanessa had the exact same vision, so it was an incredible experience! Green is my favorite color, so I obviously wanted to include it in this capsule.

We had several meetings with Vanessa to find the perfect shade of green and we applied it to my number 1 shape: a 2-piece swimsuit with a Cropped Triangle Top and High-Waisted Briefs.

What is your vision of sustainable fashion?

Sustainable fashion is a very interesting topic for me that I really enjoy.

Being sustainable can mean many different things; it cannot be limited to the environmental part but must also include the social commitment of brands.

I find it quite positive that more and more brands are starting to focus on sustainability and that they are not only focusing on the materials they use but also on how the products are manufactured, shipped, etc.

No one, neither brands nor consumers, is perfect when it comes to sustainability yet.

It is great, however, that sustainable quality products are now as good, if not better, than conventional products. We are no longer at the stage where sustainable products were synonymous with lack of design, poor quality and high prices.

I truly believe that the power is now in the hands of consumers. If everyone starts selecting brands that are doing their best to improve in terms of sustainability, I guess supply will be forced to meet demand.
